Previous President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday rejected his previous gathering, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as partitioned, factionalised and panting for breath.
Obasanjo, apparently irritated by media reports that he was located at a PDP occasion at the Shehu Yar'Adua Center in Abuja at the weekend, said the reports were gone for scoring "modest political increases."
The previous president electrifyingly tore his enrollment card of the gathering in front of the 2015 decisions, saying he was through with gathering governmental issues.
The PDP went ahead to lose that year's presidential races and its control of most of the 36 states.
The previous president said having reported his way out from factional governmental issues freely, it is unfathomable and over the top for anyone to think about that he would turn around himself and come back to a lethargic PDP
The ex – Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of PDP made this known not in Abeokuta, yesterday, in an announcement. He said he was at the Yar'Adua Center as a visitor of the Commodities Association Stakeholders which had no association with the PDP.
His words: "The individuals who know me, realize that I have freely declared my stopping divided governmental issues and the individuals who will trust the indicated story will trust anyone who lets him know that his or her mom is not a lady.
"In the event that I quit a gathering when it was alive and apparently joined together, how would I be able to backpedal to a now partitioned, factionalised party panting for breath?"
His office caught up with another announcement, saying: "While normally his first response to the news was that those behind it focused to get him irritated and humiliated him, his decision was that he has told the world that he has stopped divided governmental issues and that is last.
