As the alleged budget padding saga in the House of Representatives continues, EFCC operatives has extended its investigation to the Senate's committee on Appropriation. A member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin who was last month sacked as Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, had petitioned the antigraft agency over allegations of budget padding.
