President Muhammad Buhari has selected Mr. Tosan Erhabor as the Acting Registrar/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Erhabor was conceived in Ekiadolo, Benin Edo State on 22nd July 1964.
He went to School of Medical Technology, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo State Nigeria, majoring in Hematology, where he got a honor as the best graduating understudy in Hematology and Blood Group Serology.
He turned into an Associate individual from then Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology of Nigeria, IMLT in 1990, a kindred of the same Institute in 1994, majoring in Microbiology, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, earned a Masters in Medical Laboratory Science (MMLS) Hematology from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in 2003.
Erhabor a prepared Medical Laboratory Scientist and government employee with around 24 years' experience, began his working profession as a Lecturer, at School of Medical Laboratory Sciences, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin Edo State in 1992 from where he exchanged his support of the then Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Technology Lagos in 1997 as a Principal Medical Laboratory Scientist.
He ascended through the positions to wind up Director and Head of Department External Quality Assurance (EQA) and now the Acting Registrar/CEO of MLSCN after the abhorrent homicide recently Mrs. O.F. Omotuyi, on June 15, 2016.
Commercial
Prior to this, he was the principal expert to hold the post of Examination Officer in the then Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology now Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria from 1996-2009.
Amid his stretch in that limit, the Institute now Council as a Regulatory body developed in jump and limits because of his steady state of mind in completing his obligations
Erhabor is a scaffold developer, whose admirers not just cut over the more established era of the calling yet goes about as tutor to the more youthful individuals from the calling.
This makes his arrangement one of a kind as of now of the Council's life for it is trusted that his experience throughout the years will be conveyed to manage as the "Boss Servant of the Council" as he wants to be tended to.
He is a dynamic individual from Association of Medical Laboratory of Scientist of Nigeria (AMLSN), International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science (IFBLS) and a part IFBLS Expert Group on Hematology, 2004-2006 part, Member MLSCN board of trustees on Quality Manual Development/Implementation amongst a few others.
He has gone to a few trainings both in Nigeria and Overseas including Canada 2000, Sweden 2004, India 2008, USA 2009, Kenya 2010 and South Africa 2012.
Erhabor, whose side interests incorporate experience, football, perusing and driving is a Christian, wedded to Mrs. Esther Erhabor and they are honored with five flawless youngsters.
