COAS salutes 7 generals as they bow out of service

The Nigerian Army Engineers at the weekend in Makurdi, Benue State capital paddled out seven(7) commanders who have admirably served the country.

They incorporate; Maj. Gen. Funso Samson Owonibi, Maj. Gen. Panebi Kaiser Ikumoinein, Brig. Gen. PO Reis, Brig. Gen. Parcel Tanko Titus, Brig. Gen. Bode Folusho Ayeni, Brig. Gen. Osamudiamen Abel Osemwota and Brig. Gen. Arinze Chuka Ebenebe.

Talking at the bright service which was held at the Riverside in Nigeria Army School of Military Engineering (NSME) the Chief of Army Staff, COAS Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, praised the ideals of the resigned commanders, taking note of that they contributed colossally to the development of the country's military.

The COAS who was spoken to by the Chief of Policy and Planning of the Nigerian Army Maj. Gen. Lincoln Ogunewe said however resigned, their significant skill would be required every now and then as a feature of constant push to change the military.

The Commander Corps of Engineer, CCE Maj. Gen. Edmond Obi additionally saluted the commanders for their extraordinary commitments to the administration of their country.

He noticed that the establishment they laid, will keep on being based upon by those as yet serving.

While the Deputy Governor of the State Engr. Benson Abounu who spoke to Governor Samuel Ortom recognized the immense part designs play being developed of any country.

He praised the resigned officers for the part they have played in the development of the military, vowing that the State government is continually eager to bolster military arrangements in the State to empower them release their sacred obligation of shielding the country's regional uprightness.
