An injured Cristiano Ronaldo was overcome with emotion celebrating Portugal’s winning goal

Cristiano Ronaldo was absolutely heartbroken to see his Euro 2016 final come to an end after 25 minutes due to a knee injury. At least for a brief moment, that pain went away when Éder put Portugal on top.
Eder scored in the 109th minute on a brilliant long-distance strike, giving Portugal the lead and its first-ever European title, 1-0 over France.
The entire team went crazy, but nobody was more excited than Ronaldo who was on the verge of tears when he joined his fellow teammates.

Cristiano Ronaldo was overcome with emotion after Eder's goal gave the lead with 10 minutes left.

The chance at a major tournament title with Portugal had meant so much for Ronaldo, so when that title looked to be on the verge of becoming a reality, he almost couldn’t believe it. Watch as Ronaldo, who returned to the bench after medical treatment, limped over to his team.
He was clearly in disbelief. That’s what happiness looks like.
He’s so happy.
