In order to prune down the number of people jostling for the ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, the party leadership Monday directed all the interested persons to pay N2million development levy to the coffers of the party before they could be addressed as an aspirant of the party.
The Chairman of the party, Hon Duerimini Isaacs Kekemeke, who reeled out the rules of conduct for gubernatorial primary election campaign in the state, said the N2million levy would be accompanied with letter of notification.
There are more than 50 persons from the three senatorial districts of the state jostling for the sole ticket of the party ahead of the November 26 governorship election in the state.
Kekemeke, who addressed reporters at the party secretariat alongside the aspirants said for anybody to be addressed as aspirant of the party, he must also sign a letter of commitment that he would abide by the outcome of the party primaries that would be held between August and September.
