Dramatic end to Euro 2016, as Portugal wins by demolishing the host nation France 1 - 0 in extra time to lift trophy. This is Portugal's first win over France in 41 years.
Portugal overcame an early injury blow to Cristiano Ronaldo, to beat hosts France and win the 2016 European Championship.
Ronaldo lasted only 25 minutes of the game in Saint-Denis, before he succumbed to injury and was replaced by Ricardo Quaresma.
Although Didier Deschamps men controlled most of the match, they failed to score in 90 minutes, with goalkeeper Patricio in inspired form.
The sucker punch came in the 109th minute, as another Portugal substitute smashed in the ball from long range.
For Ronaldo and his team, it is sweet revenge, after they lost the 2004 final on home soil to Greece. This is also their first major title.
