PDP Canvasses Prayers For APC Govt To Succeed In Niger

As Muslims all over the country continue to observe this year’s Ramadan fast the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State has asked for prayers for the political leadership in the state “for God to touch their hearts so that they would do what is right to the people of the state”.
This was contained in a Ramadan message sent to Muslims across the state by the party in which it also said that the present leadership in Niger State has been implementing policies and programmes that have inflicted pains on the people.
The message personally signed by the state chairman of the party, Barrister Tanko Beji said the Holy Month of Ramadan is the most appropriate period for the people to seek the face of Allah so that God would bring a better change to the people of the state.
“In particular, the Muslim Umah in Niger State should use this Holy Month to pray for the present crop of our political leaders for Allah to touch their hearts so that they will do what they promised the ordinary people of this state.
‘There is no doubt that the economic policies of the government is inflicting a lot of pains and hardship on the people making the average Nigerlite to struggle to make ends meet, therefore, it is only with prayers in this Holy month that we can ask Allah to touch their hearts so that they will do what is right for the ordinary Nigerlite”.
Beji commiserated with the families of all those who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate crisis in Pandogari town recently and prayed that Allah will give them the strength to bare the loss while also praying for the repose of the souls of the departed.
He asked the APC government to speedily complete its investigation into the incident so that the perpetrators of the heinous crime would be brought to book according to the laws of the state.
