Three assailants attacked and killed the Chairman of the House Committee on information, Hon Gideon Aremu. Gideon, who was to be conferred with a doctorate degree by the University of Ilorin, was shot on Friday. The Oyo State Commissioner of Police has assured the nation of a speedy investigation into the murder of the Honourable Member of the House of Assembly even as the citizens of Oyo State from his town confirmed that this incident has not happened in their history
